All of our cabins come fully equipped for housekeeping, with dishes, utensils, pots and pans. Each has a propane stove for cooking and one or two electric fridges, and the electricity is provided by a central generator, which runs 24/7. The bedrooms all have solid single beds, and linens and pillows are provided. Plenty of blankets are at the guests disposal in each cabin but many prefer to bring their own sleeping bags. All cabins have a full bathroom with a toilet, sink and stand-up shower. There is always a deck or a screened-in porch for your outdoor enjoyment. The cabins are all waterfront on the shores of Loon Bay and have a lovely view of Lake Kipawa, each with its own dock for tying up your boat.
Our Disney World cabin is a large welcoming cabin that sleeps 6 people. It has 3 good-sized rooms, a 3-piece bath and a full kitchen. The living room and dining room are combined into a large relaxing space with a perfect view of the lake. There is a comfortable couch with 2 armchairs and an oil stove for those cool nights. This cabin is also equipped with a large screened-in porch to enjoy your summer evenings and a dock for your boat.
The Deer Crossing cabin is cozy and intimate, well suited to a couple or a father and son. It has 2 separate bedrooms, a 3-piece bath and a full kitchen. The living room area contains 1 rocker/recliner, 2 armchairs and a propane heater. The dining area is fitted with a convenient round table and has a lovely shaded view of the lake through majestic red pines. Also included are a small screened-in porch and a single dock.
The Wolf-Mother's Watch cabin is handicapped accessible with a large wheelchair ramp for access to the main floor. The cabin is spacious to allow for easy movement of those with restrained mobility. It boasts 3 full bedrooms, one of them with 3 beds and can accommodate up to 7 people. The large living room contains a couch, 2 armchairs and 2 rockers with an oil stove for heat as needed. The large kitchen also has a full view of Loon Bay. A double set of docks leaves plenty of room for several boats.
The Chipper Chipmunk cabin is very roomy and sleeps 4 people. With large rooms and 2 front windows with unobstructed view of the lake, this cabin has a lovely sunny feel to it. The separate living room has 4 leather armchairs, and the full kitchen has a propane heater. There is also a 3-piece bath and a screened-in porch.
The Rose Garden cabin is a spacious one that can accommodate 4 people. The living and dining areas are adjacent to each other and look out to some maple trees and the lake. There are 4 rocker/recliners and a propane heater for those cool nights.
The Bear Den is one of our largest cabins as it has 4 good-sized bedrooms with 2 beds in each one. You will find a large attached deck, a separate storage room for all your gear and a 2-piece bath with a separate stand-up shower in another room for convenience. The living room contains 2 couches and 2 rockers as well as a wood stove for heat. The kitchen has 2 fridges and is quite roomy. There is a set of double docks for tying up several boats as needed.
The Serene Swan cabin is in a lovely shady space and sleeps 3. It has a stand-up shower separate from the bathroom, 2 large bedrooms, and a wood stove for heat. The living room contains a rocker/recliner and 2 armchairs. A cozy cabin well suited to a father and son duo or a couple of friends.
The Loon Bay cottage is an enticing one with wood floors throughout. The living room is nicely furnished with 4 rocking armchairs and a wood stove. There is also 2 large bedrooms and a complete kitchen. A large screened-in porch awaits your pleasure in the evenings to watch the lake in privacy.
The Forest Haven cabin is our largest at a capacity of 10 people. A set of double docks leave ample room for several boats and the large attached deck is a great spot for everyone to hang out. The spacious living room features a wood stove, a huge corner sofa, 2 rockers and an armchair. The bright and well equipped kitchen has lots of storage space and 2 fridges. The shower is in its own room away from the 2-piece bath for convenience for larger groups. All of this situated at the end of the path, furthest away from the lodge, at the edge of the forest on a partially cleared lot.
