Moose Hunt Details:

Moose Hunt Dates:

  • The season runs from September 15 to 30 for bow/crossbow
  • From October 6 to 21 for firearm
  • We run our hunts from Saturday to Saturday

    Included in all Moose Hunting Packages:

  • Housekeeping cabin
  • Active moose hunting areas
  • Tree stands for bow hunters
  • Fishing package (boat and motor) at no extra cost

    Not Included in Fee & Package:

  • Taxes
  • Firearms Declaration Form (see below)

    Extra Information:

  • $300 Deposit per person required to hold the reservation
  • Damages to any equipment beyond normal wear and tear from use will be billed to the guest.
  • 2 hunters per moose
  • Bull and Calf permitted 2016, Cow and Calf permitted 2017

    Please Note: Do not sign your declaration form until the customs agent asks you to at the border.

    What To Bring:

  • Tree stand (if desired)
  • Warm Clothes
  • Hunter Orange hat and vest
  • Weapon of choice, gun, bow or crossbow
  • Soft guncase or bowcase
  • Bug jacket and repellent
  • Rain gear
  • Extra footwear/gloves
  • Flash lights (Batteries)
  • Binoculars and camera
  • Coolers & freezer bags for meat
  • Hunting knife/sharpener
  • Duct or packing tape
  • Fishing rod and tackle
  • Life jackets
  • Food & drink
  • Personal towels & toiletries
  • Sleeping bags (if preferred, there are blankets in cabins)
